I hope that what is happening in Iran now bears fruit in terms of long-term change. I hope it doesn't die of like many previous 'near revolutions' in the the middle-east. Generally, religion and society is more opressive of men than women, so it makes sense that women are at the forefront of the Iranaian civil disobedience
