The idea of Jesus being in a homosexual relationship with a disciple has been floated around. However it remains highly controversial.

I grew up in a conservative Pentecostal church. I for sure would have my head cut off if I ever suggested that Jesus was in a relationship. Imagine what would happen if I said he was in a homosexual relationship.
