Upgrading to Friends of Medium should be a common sense decision for all readers, but especially for writers who earn from the platform. I haven't upgraded yet, but it's the first thing I'll do in the new year. I've branded it as a little new year gift for myself. If everybody upgrades, everybody earns more for doing the same amount of work.
