Your article is spot on! People tend to forget where they come from, their roots. In Nigeria where I come from we speak of neo-colonialism. It's been a long time since the end of colonialism, but we still aspire to be and act like them. We consider our culture and history inferior, in favor of the white man's culture, history, and religion. In a way we are still slaves, the only difference is that this time, we enslaved ourselves.
